Electric actuators are generally divided into four categories: multi-turn electric devices, partial rotary electric devices, straight-stroke electric actuators, and angular-stroke electric actuators. This is differentiated according to the way the electric actuators operate. Because the operation of a valve or similar device determines how the electric actuator operates.
For example, gate valves, globe valves, etc. need to be turned many times to realize the opening or closing of the valves, so they are multi-turn valves, and such valves require multi-turn electric devices.
